![]() ![]() DO NOT READ UNLESS YOU'VE FINISHED THE GAME OR DON'T CARE ABOUT SPOILERS.) (SO MANY SPOILERS THAT I'M NOT GOING TO MARK THEM. I reckon this has to be the biggest chapter of the three by a good margin. ![]() There will be a lot of decisions, both personal and political. What else will be going on? This has to be the chapter where Kayto Shields finally moves a romance or two into full gear. Right down to special surgery to make those heart images appear in her eyes. I'd find it hilarious if Claude was actually a sophisticated spy who's been acting like a bimbo all along to get everyone to underestimate her. Icari could just be on the take but I really doubt it. Not intending to betray them to Arcadius, and a bit doubtful about what she's doing, but a good soldier obeying orders.Īva is out of the question, Asaga pretty much too. Kryska could be sending info to some sort of Alliance superiors who could turn out to be Arcadius-owned. But again, probably not with her knowledge IMO. In a similar vein, Sola could be bugged or something, a deliberate plant of some sort, because of the weird stuff with the cold sleep only being a couple months. But there might be some kind of twin-resonance-thing, where she gives away data somehow just by existing, like the Arcadiuses can sense where she is because she's their clone. If she had been, she wouldn't have been giving Kayto all those clues, like about Arcadius feeling familiar and haunting her and stuff, or obsessing about the odd nature of the black hole disaster. In smaller issues, who's the spy on the Sunrider? (Is it even consciously a spy?) I think it's pretty clear Chigara isn't a spy, at least deliberately. Where else will they crop up? Will Arcadiuses try to resurrect the New Empire? Do they have the Admiral? Or, are they influential in the wimpy political party? Or both? Will the Sunrider now have to fight the Alliance, or part of it? Meanwhile, gotta figure Arcadiuses have influence in the Solar Alliance. 2, huh? Because our heroes could end up fighting for Fontana's side of PACT against Arcadius-controlled pieces. Since Fontana holds the Legion now, maybe it's OK if you don't kill it in ch. But Arcadius(es) may retain control of part of it, leading to some kind of civil war in PACT. main impression of original PACT ideals is it was some kind of socialist revolution against the exploitative upper crust, which is fine by me although YMMV. So that means PACT will now be ambiguous at worst. Arcadius says his clones control lots of stuff galaxy-wide cuz there are hundreds of them and they're all superior and stuff. Fabulous Fontana staged a coup to rescue the original ideals of PACT from Arcadius. ![]() So, the plot's going to look a bit different in chapter 3, right? I mean, it's not simply PACT vs. ![]()
